Samba, Nov 04 (KNO): Jammu and Kashmir Anti-Corruption Bureau, Tuesday said to have registered a case against public servant, namely, Sunil Kumar, Patwari, Patwar Halqa Dadui, Tehsil & District Samba, for demanding and accepting illegal gratification from the complainant. "The accused public servant, demanded the bribe amounting to Rs 1,00,000 from the complainant, for preparing a report, sought by Tehsildar Samba on the application of complainant, with respect to correction of Girdawari," a spokesman said in a statement issued to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO). It, however, reads that after negotiation, the said Patwari has agreed to receive Rs 80,000 instead of Rs 1,00,000 from the complainant for doing the needful.
